The Byron Seniors Club offers a welcoming and inclusive program for local seniors to connect, engage and thrive. This free membership club is designed to foster a sense of belonging while promoting physical, emotional and social wellbeing through diverse activities and events. Free Activities

Members can enjoy regular free activities at the Byron Theatre designed to inspire and connect. Bookings essential.

  • Elder Beats Drumming Tuesdays, Apr 8th & 29th, 10:30-11:30am
  • Hawaiian Hula Dance Mondays, March 17th, 24th & 31st, April 7th & 14th, 10:30am–12pm
  • Time to Shine! Byron Seniors Festival 2025 Showcase March 28th, 5-7pm, Byron Theatre, $10
  • Let's Talk Dementia April 10th, 7:30-8pm, Byron Community Centre

Experience the uplifting power of rhythm

Elder Beats Drumming

Guided by Gareth Jones, our free group djembe drumming is a fun and engaging way to boost your energy, enhance wellbeing and connect with others.

Drums and percussion instruments provided. This is a FREE EVENT but bookings are required to confirm your place. You can book to come to all sessions or just some, it's up to you.

Tuesdays: April 8th & 29th
10:30am - 11:30am at Byron Theatre
Followed by 1-hour social tea in the courtyard

6-Week Course (March/April)

Hawaiian Hula Dance

Hula is a joyful, low-impact dance that promotes movement, connection and self-expression.
When: Mondays, March 17th, 24th & 31st, April 7th & 14th, 10:30am–12pm
Where:
Byron Theatre
Closed Course: Enrol for full course (no casual)
Who: Lilith of Byron Bay Hula / Mana Aloha Troupe
