Student Placement
We offer a range of work placement opportunities to students. Students from the community services, social work, tourism, hospitality, events, marketing and business sectors have been involved in major projects and fundamental roles in facilitating Byron Community Centre’s work in community development.
Work for the Dole
We provide fulfilling opportunities to Work for the Dole participants. Byron Community Centre offers a rare experience within an encouraging and supportive atmosphere. Participants develop new skills, build confidence and meet other volunteers while working in a variety of rewarding roles.
