Fletcher Street Cottage is more than just a refuge – it’s a place where people in difficult circumstances are welcomed with dignity and respect. Our Breakfast Program provides not only a nutritious meal but also a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included.
Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 – 9:00 AM
Every morning, Fletcher Street Cottage serves a nutritious breakfast that nourishes both body and soul. Led by Steve Strang, who brings his expertise in relational psychotherapy and hospitality, the program fosters a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that extends beyond just food.
Our seasonal menu could rival Byron’s best cafés – from fluffy berry pancakes to perfectly poached eggs and warming organic porridge. But beyond the food, it’s about connection: every guest is met with kindness and respect, ensuring that breakfast is not just a meal but a moment of comfort and belonging.
Serving with Compassion and Dedication
Our Breakfast Program wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated volunteers. They are the heart of this initiative, serving not just meals but also offering a listening ear and a warm smile to those in need.
With empathy and commitment, they create an atmosphere where everyone feels seen and valued. Their efforts ensure that Fletcher Street Cottage remains a safe and welcoming place, a space where no one has to feel alon
Supporting Well-being Beyond Breakfast

By offering not just nourishment but also connection and care, the Breakfast Program plays a vital role in improving overall well-being. Many guests return regularly, finding comfort in the friendly faces and supportive community that greet them each morning.
