Byron’s original market since 1987, this iconic Sunday market in the town centre is an eclectic collection of stalls that showcase Byron's intrinsic authenticity and lively culture.

The Byron Beachside Market takes place four times a year at Byron Bay’s Main Beach foreshore.

Allocation of Stalls

What we're looking for
  • Locally made, original, unique and high-quality items made by the stallholder

  • Residents of one of the following Shires: Byron, Ballina, Lismore and Tweed

  • Food and beverages

  • Arts and crafts, clothing and jewellery

  • Healing therapies

Site Fees

General Sites

  • Standard (3m × 3m) $75

  • Double Depth (3m x 6m) $99

  • Half (3m x 1.5m) $55

Food Sites

  • Small (3m x 3m) $120

  • Medium (3m x 5m) $150

  • Large (3m x 6m) $180

Additions

  • Corner Site + $10

  • Electricity + $10

Application Process

All our staff work part time - please be patient in waiting for a response

New Stallholders

(Never attended Beachside Market)

  • Click the Apply Now button to complete your application

    • Please ensure you have all your documents ready and provide a suitable description of your product/stall

Existing Stallholders

(Have previously attended Beachside Market)

  • An Expression of Interest (EOI) form will be emailed to you. If you have not received an email please contact us.

Important Dates (Please note)

  • 1st round Invoices sent (confirmation of acceptance):
    Monday, 11th March *
    1st round payments due: 4pm, Sunday 17th March
    If you have not paid your invoice by the cut off date, your site will be  reallocated in the 2nd round invoices. 

  • 2nd round Invoices sent: Monday 18th March
    2nd round payments due: ASAP

  • Notification of site number: 5pm, Wednesday 27th March

    * your invoice is confirmation that you have been accepted into the market
