About Us

Discover the spirit of Byron’s creative community at our iconic Byron Markets. Our Beachside, Twilight and Community markets are the greatest way for anyone to truly experience all that Byron Bay has to offer. It is a great way to meet the locals, purchase local produce and hand crafted items, not to mention explore the diversity of Byron as all the markets are different and have something unique to offer.

We also offer the Lennox Community Market which is a vibrant part of the Lennox community. The Lennox Market has its own vibe and a family friendly atmosphere. Lennox is a laidback surf town and many locals come out to enjoy the markets.

Offering unique experiences throughout each market, market goers are sure to find themselves surrounded by diversity, authenticity and wonder. With a collection of fabulous handmade products, holistic services, quality imports, food and live music, it’s no question why these markets are the most talked about in the Northern Rivers.

Our markets’ ‘make it, bake it, grow it, sew it’ philosophy offers a platform for local residents and small businesses to use in order to sell their goods and services. As our goal is to support the needs of the local community, all funds raised from stallholder fees are used through the Byron Community Centre to do just that.

Supporting Our Local Community

The Byron Markets are managed by the Byron Bay Community Association (BBCA) which is a not-for-profit social enterprise that is entirely self-funded through income and project grants. The BBCA receives no ongoing income from Federal, state or local governments and it’s through the committed work of the Byron Community Centre that a range of projects, services and events for locals and visitors have been established.

Some of these services include homeless breakfast and showers, shelter during severe weather, outreach, counselling and advocacy for our community’s most vulnerable, as well as seniors activities.

The markets are Byron’s most unique community marketplace with a focus on sustaining our local community. So, what are you waiting for? Come and visit our markets and experience what the Byron community is all about.
