Experience the Magic of Hula

Byron Seniors Club members are invited to a joyful and heartwarming taster session of Hawaiian Hula Dance. Often called the dance of aloha, hula is a beautiful expression of Hawaiian culture, combining gentle movement with storytelling and music.

This session is perfect for mature dancers who want to enjoy a fun, low-impact activity that enhances well-being and brings a smile to everyone's face.

What to Expect

The talented Byron Bay Hula / Mana Aloha Troupe (meaning Powerful Love) will guide you through this special event. Known for spreading joy at community celebrations, fundraisers, and aged-care events, the troupe’s graceful hip-swaying movements and expressive hand gestures celebrate nature’s beauty and the spirit of gratitude.

The session includes:

A live performance by the Mana Aloha Troupe

A beginner-friendly hula workshop where you can join in the fun

A chance to connect with others and explore a new way to stay active

Booking essential!

If there’s enough interest, we will organise a free short course—so come along and give it a go!

We can’t wait to share the joy of hula with you!
