Experience this unique two-act indie rock "musical" for one evening only at Byron Theatre. This special event showcases Mikey Bee on guitar, Elodie Crowe on Wurlitzer, both lending their vocals, and the acclaimed cellist Tara Lee Byrne anchoring the performance. One year on from it's sold out debut, this show was crafted in and for the Byron Theatre.

"The Magic of the Mundane" breathes life into the heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies of the uplifting albums "Tender [A]" and "Hooks [B]" by MT WARNING.

This seamless fusion of music, lo-fi dance, and physical theatre creates an immersive narrative that delves into the depths of humans creating and unveils the hidden magic within the mundane moments of life.

"This is not just a show; it’s an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after the final curtain falls."  - The Echo.

About MT WARNING:

Mikey Bryant (AKA producer/songwriter MT WARNING) released his 2014 debut album Midnight Set, featuring the much Shazamed track ‘Sinking Sun’, to rave reviews. He followed it up with EP Petrified Heart and the 2020 album Consolations. He has toured both in Australia and abroad including spots on Splendour in the Grass, Laneway Festival, SXSW and UK’s Field Day. He has toured with The Temper Trap, Circa Waves and Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, and received airplay on triple j, FBI, US college radio and BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe ‘Next Hype’.

Elodie Crowe is a singer-songwriter, musician, vocal director and now seasoned thespian. She spent years recording and touring the world as part of the indie-pop band Tigertown and as the band came to an end, Elodie felt her time on the stage had also.

As Mikey was finalising his albums Tender A and Hooks B, he invited Elodie to sing harmonies on the muse gifted songs and they began playing shows together under the MT WARNING name. Singing life into the tracks and dragging the vintage piano around the area to shows, a musical friendship and a hard earned creative chemistry was built.

Breaking from traditional gig offerings and after an exhilarating experience working in theatre, Mikey wanted to give a gift of the worlds that showed him how to find the joy in music again.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
