Register your organisation with the Byron Shire Volunteer HUB

If you are an organisation operating in the Byron Shire and are looking for volunteers, then we encourage you to register your organisation with us. Once you are in our database, you will gain access to over 300 volunteers here in the Byron Shire. We will also inform you about volunteer events and expos here at the Byron Community Centre. These events are a great opportunity to introduce your organisation and what you do to interested volunteers. To register your organisation please use the form below:

    Organisations using the Byron Community Centre Volunteer Hub (BCC VH) Need to agree to the following three (3) clauses. Please tick the boxes below.

    (i) The organisation agrees not to represent itself and to use its best endeavours to ensure that its officers, employees, agents and subcontractors do not represent themselves as being an officer, employee, partner or agent of the BCCVH or is otherwise able to bind or represent the BCCVH.

    (ii) The organisation is not by virtue of these terms and conditions or using the referral service an officer, employee, partner or agent of the BCCVH, nor does the organisation have any power of authority to bind or represent the BCCVH.

    (iii) Nothing in the terms and conditions shall create a partnership, agency or joint venture between the parties and neither party shall enter or have authority to enter into any engagement or make any representation or warranty on behalf of or pledge the credit of or otherwise bind or oblige the other party.

    (i) Liability incurred by the BCCVH, or

    (ii) Claim by any volunteer that the BCCVH has breached any duty of care owed to that volunteer, or

    (iii) Loss or damage to the property of the BCCVH, or

    (iv) Loss or expense incurred by the BCCVH in dealing with any claim against it including legal costs and expenses on a solicitor/own client basis and a cost of time spent, resources used or disbursements paid by the BCCVH in connection in any way with these terms and conditions or the referral service.

    The organisation using this referral service agrees that it is an independent organisation responsible for its own actions and not agents of the BCCVH. The organisation further agrees that the BCCVH is not responsible for the operations or conduct of the volunteers or organisations using this service.
