Community Led Flood Recovery
Your donation will go through the Byron Community Centre who is partnering with the Northern Rivers Community Foundation to ensure that 100% of donations go towards locally based needs. The Flood Relief Fund will distribute the donations via immediate grants to community organisations across the Northern Rivers region for the quickest and most effective support.

Northern Rivers Community Organisations
Your donation will support not-for-profit community organisations across the Northern Rivers region:
- Community and neighbourhood centres
- Emergency relief hubs
- Housing and homelessness services
- Support groups for domestic violence and mental health
- Crisis support
- Food pantries
- Environment and wildlife conservation organisations
The funds raised have now been allocated to a first batch of not-for-profit organisations across the Northern Rivers. The organisations represent a broad mix of immediate support needs and a wide geographical spread, and we’re doing all we can to listen, hear and connect to local needs on a daily basis.

“Our community is absolutely incredible; I don’t know where they get their kindness and their generosity from. I can’t thank the donors enough. It’s not a ‘hand down’, it’s a ‘hand up’ to help with recovery.” – Barbara Swain, Mental Health Support Group
