Zoe Daniel Reporting from Trumpland - Q&A with Kerry O’Brien presented by ABC Friends Northern Rivers at Byron Theatre

This event was originally scheduled for Saturday 20th February, 2021, but was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
All tickets issued for 20th February are valid for 31st July.

Please contact tickets@byroncentre.com.au with any queries.

Sponsored by ABC Friends Northern Rivers, this event at Byron Theatre will feature a Q&A between local broadcaster Kerry O’Brien and former ABC colleague Zoe Daniel.

Zoe worked as a cadet for the ABC in the Northern Rivers Region before taking up her first appointment in Adelaide in 1993. She was the ABC’s foreign correspondent in Africa from 2005-2007 and South East Asian correspondent from 2009-2013.

Zoe has recently returned to Australia from the USA where she was the ABC’s Washington correspondent from December 2015. Her posting coincided with the Presidential campaign and subsequent election of Donald Trump. In mid-February 2021, Zoe will publish her second book, Trumpland, that draws upon her direct personal experience of the Trump era.

Following the Q&A, there will be an opportunity to take questions from the audience and at the end of the session, between 3.30pm and 4.00pm, Zoe will be on hand to sign copies of Trumpland, supplied for purchase in the theatre by The Book Room at Byron.
