The Worm Is Turning is a powerful indictment against the global food and agri-chemical giants, and a testament to the productiveness and efficiency of small, agro-ecological farmers.

The Worm Is Turning shows where the big, destructive system comes from and how it’s kept alive.
It also shows amazing regenerative farmers from America, India, Australia, Thailand and Indonesia and features Vandana ShivaJoel SalatinHelena Norberg-HodgeRaj PatelOlivier de Shutter and many more voices in favour of ecological farming.

What we can do to grow more agro-ecological food in the Byron Shire

Andrew Cameron, Agriculture Extension officer at Byron Shire Council, providore to several small farms in the region.
Venetia Scott, General Manager of Hungry Earth Agroecology at the Farm, and Co-ordinator of Young Farmers Connect Northern Rivers.
Bunya Halasz, senior Permaculture Teacher for Byron Community College and head grower at Growing Roots Permaculture at The Farm.
Helena Norberg-Hodge, director of Local Futures, author, filmmaker and international speaker on the need for localisation.
