Award-winning pianist and author, Jessica Roemischer will combine music, story telling and video for a unique concert event. Greg Thomas of the New York Daily News says that Roemischer’s performances, “Evoke peace because they come from love.”

For her Byron Bay debut, she’ll begin by showing  “Once in a Blue Moon”, a captivating video collaboration with Byron photographer Luke Taylor, which has received nearly 2 million views. The audience will experience the video of the “blue moon” rising over Byron’s lighthouse, as she plays the piano soundtrack live.

An Australian resident originally from New York, Roemischer will read from her award-winning memoir, heralded as “a luminously loving tale”, as she accompanies herself at the piano. She’ll perform selections from her acclaimed piano CDs, “Haven” and “Light Born of Light,” as she shares stories inspired by the natural beauty of Australia, and especially Byron Bay.

She is widely recognized for her inspiring performances. She has been supported by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, singer/songwriter James Taylor, and was honored with a CNN Heroes Award nomination.

“Once in a while someone comes along to create a whole new perspective on the power of the human spirit. So it is with Jessica Roemischer”, says Debbe Kennedy, founder of The Global Dialogue Centre.
