Let’s Talk

Financial Resilience: Profits Through the Pain

Lessons learned after business turbulence. Let’s Talk Financial Resilience will include little known options available when facing the brink of financial crises, and stories highlighting the tenacity and resourcefulness needed for business in these current times.

All business people are welcome! Cameron Arnold [Chair of Destination North Coast and CEO of Regen Tourism], and Susan Wanmer [Business Strategist and CXO at Ausana Marketing Institute], have both faced financial hardships, recovered, and grown from their times of financial distress.

Recently co-founding Northern Rivers Business Literacy group, they are mutually driven to help others in business. Financial resilience and business literacy revolve around knowing how to navigate and avoid painful business situations.

Hear these two experienced speakers share their individual business journeys ‘back from the brink’ and into profits in a conversational style that invites you to ask questions. Share your own stories of profits…or pain. We want to hear about your resourcefulness – or challenges!

Byron Bay Chamber of Commerce is pleased to support The Community Hub in a collaboration with the Byron Community Centre to strengthen Byron business’ financial resilience. Increased individual resilience creates greater community resilience.

If resilience is the ability to bounce back after difficult situations we are asking you – the business community ‘What does a local business need to bounce back?’.

Technology and creativity help Profits though the Pain, and will be showcased on the evening by Aurora VR. As something new for events, attendance is available as a hybrid either at Byron Community Centre, or ‘Attend-from-Anywhere’ for convenience.
