ANNOUNCEMENT – $10 STUDENT PRICE
Now more than ever we at The Byron Bay International Film Festival believe it’s vital to pass on and share the history and knowledge of Australia’s rich cultural heritage.
We are offering $10 tickets for students of all ages to attend this very special and rare talk at the Byron Theatre.
Australian acting legend Jack Thompson (Breaker Morant, Merry Xmas Mr Lawrence, The Sum of Us, High Ground) joins Actor/Director Wayne Blair (Firestarter – The Story of Bangarra, The Sapphires, Top End Wedding) for an intimate conversation examining their own history and exploring the evolution of Indigenous culture on Australian screens.
The conversation will led by Associate Professor and Producer Pauline Clague.
(2020 NSW Indigenous Woman of the Year Award 2020 nominee, Stanley Hawes Award winner, Director and founder of Winda Film Festival)
