COPPELIA is a comedic story about romance, betrayal and mistaken identity. Dr Coppelius, the eccentric toymaker creates beautiful, life-like dolls and Franz is intrigued by the prettiest doll of all – Coppelia. Swanhilda (Franz’s fiance) and her friends set out to explore the toyshop and find out more about this mysterious young woman. Franz is also exploring and the comedic chaos begins.
Set to the delightful music of Delibes, ‘Coppelia’ is the perfect ballet for the whole family. Byron Ballet will be presenting from the toyshop scene of Act 2/3.

RAVEL’S BOLERO
The famous Ravel’s Bolero is one of the most sensual and hypnotic works of all time, building to an irrestistable climax. Byron Ballet dancers will be presenting a contemporary work with a flamenco flair. Not to be missed.

BYRON BALLET Company will also be presenting classical solos and pas de deux from well know classical repetoire.

Professional male guests JEREMY GATES  and THOMAS DILLEY will also be performing stunning variations from the classical repetoire. It is very rare to see dancers of this calibre in regional areas – a wonderful treat for all dance and classical music lovers !
