Temporary accommodation for people in need

Thanks to our generous donors, the Byron Shire Cabin has now opened to provide temporary accommodation for our community’s most vulnerable.

The two-bedroom cabin is used by people referred from Fletcher Street Cottage, which provides services for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. A Community Worker from Fletcher Street Cottage is available as needed to provide assistance and support.

The cabin is a safe, comfortable and welcoming space that has been beautifully furnished. It provides those who use it with the security and dignity they deserve.
