About the project
Exciting new computer skills opportunity for local seniors and seniors’ organisations.
Get on board with Byron Seniors Online Connect.
Byron Seniors Online Connect is a new program being offered by the BCC to seniors from February to May 2021. The purpose of the program is to help local seniors improve their digital skills, which is now more vital than ever.
The benefits of the program include improved digital literacy, increased access to social connections, family, services and resources, which all add up to improved wellbeing for learners and the community as a whole.
The exciting part of this new program is its outreach element. We now have tutors who can visit you in your own home or a venue of your choice.
All you have to do is contact us at the Community Centre on (02) 66856807 or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to make a booking, or for more information about how we can help you to get involved with this great opportunity.
Byron Seniors Online Connect is designed to offer individualised lessons and learning plans through one-on-one sessions, small group sessions, and to local seniors’ organisations.
The program allows us to focus specifically on those things that are of interest to our seniors regarding their devices and the way they use them.
